Howdy y’all from sunny Palmdale RV Resort

Dances, parties, food and fun on the Palmdale winter menu. We have an exciting 2007/08 season planned with entertainment by such notables as Susan Hudson Carmon, Bo Rivers, Deuces Wild, The Lone Stranger and many others.

October will begin the season with a pumpkin carving contest and Halloween party. In November we will have a big Thanksgiving feast. December will include many festive events such as a tree trimming party, decorating contest, Christmas dinner and gala New Year’s Party.A special new event will be the Welcome Back Winter Texan party in January. February is literally crammed with fun that will include shows and dances. March winds up the season with a special Easter Service and Easter Dinner. The calendar is currently being prepared and updated so keep checking for more fun events.

The park landscaping is looking lush and green thanks to our new maintenance supervisor Sharon Petersen. We plan to put in more flowers before the season to make it look even more colorful and appealing. We will have the landscape and maintenance expertise of workampers coming in October to get everything ready for your arrival.

I would like to also take this time to introduce myself as your new community manager. I have a background in business and activities and will put it to work to make Palmdale an even better place to call your winter home. I look forward to meeting each of you and spending the winter together. Have a safe trip down and I’ll see you soon.
